How to get Bird

Train until you have any Speed (Forest needs none), then go to Forest, zone 1 of 14, guarded by the Chicken. Steal eggs there and bring them back to your base to hatch.

Each egg that spawns in Forest has a 17% chance to be a Bird Egg. That means you need to see about 4 eggs for a 50% chance of at least one, and 13 eggs for 90%.

A Bird egg takes 25s to hatch, and the wiki lists its reward as +500 Speed, $800.
